De Vigor 3912S wordt standaard geleverd met verschillende applicaties zoals Portainer, Suricata en VigorConnect. Zelf kun je op het Ubuntu Linux besturingssysteem je eigen applicaties draaien. Zo is het mogelijk Ubuntu Native applicaties te installeren, Docker containers te draaien of zelfs een volledige virtuele machine te installeren.
